What do you do next?The interview is the most stressful and important part of job hunting.The decision to hire or reject you for the job is made at the interview stage.
The interview is where all your hard work can be rewarded or rejected.If you make a mistake at this stage all your hard work will have been for nothing.
1.Make a positive impression.
Always dress well for the interview, in clothing which is appropriate.Even if you will not wear smart clothing in the position you are applying for, you should ensure you are dressed in business attire for the interview.
2. Do some groundwork prior to the interview.
One of the best ways to make a good impression on your interviewer is to do a little research on the company you are applying for.If you are knowledgeable about the company you should find answering some of the interview questions much easier. 4. Appear confident.
Be self confident from the minute you arrive at the interview.Make sure you are confident in what you say.Do not be afraid to say you don’t know the answer to the question, it is better than fumbling for words.If you answer with confidence then the employer will feel you are competent – possibly just the right person for the job.
